Boundaries Group
Purpose: Many people struggle with boundaries, how to define them, how to use them, and how to not feel guilty when setting them. This group will help participants recognize what boundaries are and help them learn to navigate common situations and pitfalls while learning to utilize boundaries for a more balanced life. The group is structured around John Cloud and Henry Townsend’s popular book, Boundaries. While the material is scripture based, this is a boundaries study, not a Bible study.
Who: Anyone interested in learning how to set better boundaries with themselves and others.
When: Every Saturday afternoon from September 18, 2021 through November 20, 2021 (minus the week of October 16).
Where: New Hope Wellness Center
9220 Cyclone School Rd, Lee’s Summit
Commitment: This is considered a ‘closed group’, requiring a 9 week time and financial commitment. Participants are expected to attend all 9 group sessions. Once the group begins, no new members will be added (with the exception of preapproval).
Time: 12:00-1:30 P.M.
Cost: $20.08 (Amazon) for the Boundaries book and Boundaries Participant’s Guide
